Forms and Advising

EPC students can discuss minor and adjunct major declarations, planning the minor or adjunct major, plans for study abroad, requesting credit for study abroad courses or courses taken at another institution, and petitioning to graduate, with an EPC adviser. The primary adviser is Melissa Rosenzweig, the director of undergraduate studies (melissa.rosenzweig@northwestern.edu). The secondary adviser is Keith Woodhouse, the program director (keith.woodhouse@northwestern.edu).

In order to declare the minor or adjunct major, please complete a WCAS declaration form for a minor or a major.

Contact Melissa Rosenzweig to set up an advising appointment.

*Until further notice, all EPC advising will be conducted online rather than in person. Please email Melissa Rosenzweig with any questions or to set up an online appointment.

Petition to Graduate

Students planning to graduate with a minor in EPC should file a Petition to Graduate one calendar year before anticipated graduation (but not before the third quarter of their third year). Once completed, the form must be signed by an EPC faculty advisor and returned to the Registrar's Office.

Before your meeting with the EPC advisor, you must fill out

  1. The Graduation Petition Form of your school.
  2. The Adjunct Major Requirement Worksheet or Minor Requirement Worksheet.

You must bring with you to the meeting with the EPC faculty advisor:

  1. The Graduation Petition Form of your school.
  2. The Adjunct Major Requirement Worksheet or Minor Requirement Worksheet.
  3. Your degree progress report.
